Give Up Your Life For Me
Crucify your flesh and give up your life for me. Let me come and cleanse you and make your life holy and pleasing to me once again. Rid yourself of cruel talk and malice of any kind. Seek me out with your whole heart and leave nothing behind to corrupt your thinking. Remain in me and I shall remain in you. Nothing can separate us, but when you step back into sin you grieve my Spirit and once again, you feel far from me.
Carry my cross with you wherever you go. Remember who I am and what I’ve done for you. Remember how it grieves my heart when your heart and mind is far from me. I desire oneness with you all the days of your life. My heart’s desire is to be with you all day long and you share each experience you’re going through with me as you go along. Communing with me is a privilege and not just for anyone.
Your life belongs to me and you are not your own. You were bought and paid for by the blood of my Son. What sacrifices have you made for me as you are making all your plans? Do you make time for me as you go about your day or are you only concerned about the things you want to do and say? Don’t be concerned with only your plans. Make time to speak to me and see what I have to say.
The things that occupy your mind are here and gone by tomorrow. Let your mind be stayed on me to fill your mind with blessed tomorrow’s. Your focus has been only on today and there are so many things I want you to recognize are for you today. I have a future planned for you, but how can I share that with you if you never stop to communicate with me?
I have made an everlasting covenant with you when you gave your life to me. Nothing can keep you from coming to me except your own willful choice to ignore me. I have so much I want to share with you – yet you choose to live life your own way. How much time do you think you have? Is there room for me? Where do you think the choices you’ve made will lead you to one day?
Come to me and let me relieve you of that burden. Come to me and confess your sin so that I can lighten that heavy burden. Come to me and make a fresh start. Let me open your eyes to see and soften your stony heart. What lies have you believed to make you think harshly of me? Who has told you I’m a harsh taskmaster?
Come to me and let me reveal my great plans for you. Let me unlock your mind and show you what lies ahead of you. You have forgotten who I am and you’ve believed the lies of the enemy. Open your heart to me and let my Spirit take control. Let my light shine brightly into your soul and make things right again. Surrender your life to me and I will shine brightly within, making you feel whole again. Remember, all things are possible with me and my light can shine brightly within you once again. All you need to do is to surrender your love to me.
Galatians 5:22-25 English Standard Version

1 Corinthians 7:23 The Voice
23 A high price has been paid for your freedom, so don’t devalue God’s investment by becoming a slave to people.
Isaiah 26:3 New Living Translation
3 You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Matthew 24:25-30 New Century Version
24 “Then the servant who had been given one bag of gold came to the master and said, ‘Master, I knew that you were a hard man. You harvest things you did not plant. You gather crops where you did not sow any seed. 25 So I was afraid and went and hid your money in the ground. Here is your bag of gold.’ 26 The master answered, ‘You are a wicked and lazy servant! You say you knew that I harvest things I did not plant and that I gather crops where I did not sow any seed. 27 So you should have put my gold in the bank. Then, when I came home, I would have received my gold back with interest.’ 28 “So the master told his other servants, ‘Take the bag of gold from that servant and give it to the servant who has ten bags of gold. 29 Those who have much will get more, and they will have much more than they need. But those who do not have much will have everything taken away from them.’ 30 Then the master said, ‘Throw that useless servant outside, into the darkness where people will cry and grind their teeth with pain.’
