Acceptable in My Presence

Let your heart be restored and renewed in me each day. Do not let yourself stray too far from me and cause your heart to ache. Reach out to me daily and seek the very heart of me. Cancel your plans to go astray but instead be obedient to me.

What is on your heart this day? Can you lay it here before me and speak to me candidly about how you feel? What keeps your heart held back from laying everything out before me? Can you not understand I was made for you and you were made for me? We were made for constant communion with one another.

Let no darkness hide your shame, but bring it into the light so I can show you another way in which to live. There is nothing you can do or say that will persuade me to turn away from you. You are my child and you can speak candidly with me. There is nothing you can say or do that would turn my face away from you. Yes, I cannot look upon sin but when I see you, I see the covering of my Son’s blood over your life.

Let your mind be reminded of my Truth. Let your heart be lifted up to see things as I do. Be comforted in knowing I lift up those I love and see them as they should be. I see your full potential and I will help you get to where you need to be. There never needs to be a gap between those who profess to love me and have given their life to me. There never needs to be separation between you and I.

Uphold my laws within your heart. Lean on me to give you advice. Let me touch your heart and make you clean providing a clear path before you. You will never feel alone as you approach my throne and I will never reject you when you come to me. It is by the blood of my Son that you have clean hands and a pure heart. It is by coming into my presence where everything is made new again. It is I who gives you clean hands and a pure heart to start new again.

Reconcile yourself to me. Make a new start today. Rid yourself of the things that bog you down and cause you to go astray. You think you need these other things in your life but they are no substitute for what you can have in me. Nothing compares to the comfort and the freedom I provide. Nothing can substitute my presence in your life. Rest your life, your thoughts, your mind, here in my presence. Be one with me and let me be one with you. See your life as I see you – acceptable in my presence.
