Surrender Completely
Surrender your thoughts. Surrender your heart. Surrender every part of your life to me. Surrender is what I require of you. You cannot keep your life for yourself and truly follow me. You are either following me or you are serving a different king.
Sacrifice is required of me to fully be in service to the King of all kings. Your life is not your own when you truly belong to me. Step your foot one step at a time being obedient to listen for my voice to know the next step to take. This is what is required in following my lead and living a life in YAHWEH.
Can you see what lies ahead? Can you know which path to take? Are you omniscient and know all things or are you fully and completely dependent on me? Do you take things into your own hands or are you on your knees asking for my direction? What is your present posture, standing in defiance of me or surrendering every part of your being to me?
Come and press in harder towards me. See with a renewed vision the things I want you to see. Can you see into the future and know what’s coming ahead or are you just guessing and plowing forward again? Why do you take such grave chances when dangerous situations could be lying ahead?
The ways in which you navigated before are no longer acceptable to me. Are you navigating by my Spirit’s leading or are you navigating by your own fleshly needs? You cannot curate your own path but you must follow my lead. Dangerous roads will lie ahead to those who navigate by their own flesh.
My people who are called by my name must be directed only by me. There is no middle ground with me. You are either for me and with me or you are following another path. Do not risk giving up all that you have attained by my hand to follow and be led away by your own flesh. Thinking this way only leads down a disastrous path. Your initial intentions may have had some merit but it is only in following my lead that will lead you to success.
Give up your selfishness and willful pride and learn to fully submit yourself to me. Can a dog teach its master new tricks or does the dog’s willingness to submit to its master bring a greater reward? Can you bring a greater reward to your life by taking the leash from my hands? Can you fully submit to your LORD and Master and be submissive to whatever I ask? Have you elevated yourself so high you need not follow my direction?
Ask yourself these questions and ask yourself if you feel offended by my analogy of a dog. If you understood my enormous amount of love for you, you would never take offense. Have you never examined my great love for you and understood your position in me? You have everything you could ever need by just following close by my side. Your willingness to cling to your pride only sets you further from me. Surrender your life completely over to me and watch me change your life.
