Overcoming Difficult Obstacles
Set your heart on things above and not below. Do not settle for the lesser things but look to me to set your heart and mind in the correct way. Your life is an example of my love. See others as I see them and set your gaze on me. Do not let the pettiness of others cause your heart to turn and look away. Keep your eyes on me, the Author and Finisher of your faith.
Set your mind on things above and learn to walk like me. I may not stop things from taking place around you so that you become more like me. These things come and go but you must learn how to redirect your thinking so you become more like me. If there are no challenges there can be no growth. How can you grow beyond your borders if you cannot overcome the hurdles set before you?
Learn to stretch and build your strength based upon my principles. All your life you will be faced with difficult situations but by placing your trust and faith in me you can overcome all difficult obstacles. Think of a runner who runs his race. He does not become stronger and faster by going the same pace. The runner must go beyond what he already knows to increase his strength and endurance. Can you go the distance with me even though the people around you don’t change?
Living with difficult people is an absolute and learning to live like me is your only resolution. Can you resign your will to place things in my hands and let me bring peace to every situation? It is a daily resignation that you must give to me and let my justice fall upon your situation.
Can you learn without being challenged? Can you grow without the proper motivation? Following my direction will guide you through this life but resisting will only bring temptation. Temptation will always come at you when your resistance is down. Come to me for a refueling of my Spirit’s power to give you guidance through your situation.
Rest in me and know my heart is for you. I will not let you down and I will help you position your crown so as not to misrepresent me. Call on me to help you think and give you the strength to not give into temptation. Call on me to remove the enemy from standing in your way. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Call on me night and day and let me take your anxiety. Let me calm your mind with the peace that only I can bring. Rest and reassurance are what you are looking for and all of that can be found in me. Your life is destined for greater things and my peace will always guard your heart. Keep your eyes on me, the Author and Finisher of the story of your faith.
