Death to Your Old Way of Living
The cross is where it is finished and it ends. The cross is where new life begins. My sacrifice was necessary to give new life to all my children. There must be death to bring new life. Bring me a sacrifice of your life and lay it down before me. Let nothing stand in the way between you and I that would keep you from fully being obedient to me.
Recognize that there must be a death to your old way of living so that you can fully embrace a new way to live. Let go of the things and practices that used to occupy your mind and learn of the ways of YAHWEH that must be incorporated into your life. No longer do you engage and conform to this world, but your life now belongs to me. Let your heart and mind be connected to me allowing my Spirit to guide and lead you.
You used to make decisions based upon feelings and impulses, but now you follow me. Weigh all of your decisions based upon my Truth and guided by my Spirit living within you. Ask me if it is the right thing to do. Ask me anything that occupies your mind and I will lead and guide you into all truth. Push forward in your pursuit of this new life I have given you and know I never have and never will give up on you.
Your salvation by me is not because of good works or good deeds. Your salvation is a gift given from me to you. You cannot earn a love that was already given before you were even born. I knew you and formed you in your mother’s womb and my love was for you before your conception. So, you cannot earn what was already yours. Let my love for you surround your mind and heart and see just how much love surrounds your entire being. Knowing the depth of my love for you will change your whole attitude.
This time is yours to live for me or for the world. You have chosen to give your life to me and to live your life according to my Word. The struggle you feel is because you are growing in me. There comes a time where you feel the need to let things go but your old desires want to kick back in. Ask me for the strength to live a different way. Know that you are not alone and that these struggles are common to man.
Call upon my Spirit to help you see in a new way. Ask me for the strength to overcome whatever you are tempted to do. Ask my Spirit to remind you of what is good and true and to remember my love that surrounds you. My blood covers a multitude of sins and it is my life that was given so you could live a new life in me. Cast every care and thought that comes into your mind upon me and let me create in you a new way to see, to think, and to feel. Let not your heart be focused on the sin but let your mind be reminded of the love I freely give.
