Let Me Capture Your Attention

Let the focus of your attention be on me and let your heart be receptive to all I have to say. Keep your ears open to hear my words clearly and do not let your attention stray away from me. It is hard to keep your attention on just one thing or just one person at a time. Your thoughts are scattered like glass that breaks on the floor into pieces. You do not know where to focus your thoughts, for there are too many things that are vying for your attention.

Keep your eyes on me, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Remember my Word and remember my promises spoken over you. Your mind is constantly pulled in every direction and that is why you must set aside this time to give me your undivided attention. Come and cast all your cares upon me in this time. Come and let me capture your attention. You will find great peace of mind when you set aside this time with me.

Remain with me and give your whole attention to thinking about me. Focus on my attributes and focus on all the miraculous things I have done for you to bring my people close to me. I love my children more than you can fathom but your attention has been elsewhere for so long you have forgotten all about me. Remain focused on the things that are true. Remain focused on my great love for you.

Sing songs about my love and let these thoughts settle deeply into your heart and mind. Spend time in worship of me for all you see me doing in your life. Know that I will take care of you just as I did for my children who came before you. I love you just as much as I loved them and laid my life down before them. See the sacrifice I made for you and know I would do it again but that is not necessary. My blood was the ultimate atonement for all mankind in the past, present, and future.

Be present with me. Come and be with me in my presence. Come join me in the work I have called and appointed you to do. You are lacking nothing, for I have created and equipped you to do the work that is set before you. You are limited by nothing and all my resources are set here before you. But you must come to me to receive all that you need. Rely and trust in me for all of your needs. Do not think you lack anything to move forward because you have all that you need in me.

Your time has been given to you to do what you will with it. What will you do with your time? Will you waste it on frivolous things or will you occupy your time with your Creator and King? Will you give your attention to the One and Only who can advance your forward or will you let the distractions of this world shift your focus on lesser things? The choice is always left up to you but you are guaranteed success when you lift your eyes to me. I am the eternal hope of glory and all my benefits will be found in me.
