Cast All Your Cares Upon Me
Rest yourself in me today. Rest your heart, rest your mind, and let yourself be one with me today. For I know the weight that you carry and I know the burdens that cover your mind day after day. You are my children and there is nothing that I don’t see going on within your mind. I cherish you and I love you and my heart grieves when you don’t come to me with all that you carry.
Each day you continue to carry this load around with you. You don’t even realize how heavy a load it is. Coming to me with all these burdens is how you will lighten your load. Your heart cares deeply and you love others as I do, but your heart and mind were not designed to carry this load for others, but you are to bring these matters to me.
Do you trust me enough to oversee all that you bring to me? Do you believe that I am over all things? Get into a habit of bringing every thought and burden to me and allowing me to help you sort things out. Let my Spirit help you work these thoughts and situations out so that you are free to move with my joy throughout the day. Can you help others by carrying their worries and their problems around with you?
The best way to help them and yourself is to bring all your cares to me. I will help you unpack them one by one and remove all the worry that weighs you down. You are to be a light to all those you encounter, but how can you enlighten others when you are burdened down with the weight of the world around you? I made you to have a caring and loving heart but I did not make you to bear a weighty burden that cuts you off your light from me.
Cast all your cares upon me and let me carry the thoughts and the feelings that encumber you. Lay each thought and feeling that you are experiencing down at my feet and let my Spirit help you to know how to feel about each one of them. My Truth and your feelings are two different things and you must come to me to gain the wisdom to know how to handle each one of these. Let me balance out your feelings with my Truth and let my Truth set you free from a prison of guilt, shame, and sorrow that has burdened you down.
Each day come to me and lay these burdens and thoughts down before me. Ask my Spirit to lead you and guide your thought processes onto the path that I want you to go. Let me guide each thought in the way you should think and set that thought side by side with my Truth. When your feelings don’t align with my Truth, then we will work deeply on why you feel the way you do. I am your Mighty Counselor, your Friend, and I will help your mind become healthy once again. Feelings were given to you by me and I will show you how to be effective with them. If you let them weigh you down, how can you be effective for my Kingdom? Cast all your cares upon me and let me bring a settlement to your heart and mind.
