Cast Down Every Burden
Cast down every burden that is placed upon your life. It is not your place to carry things that you do not control the outcome of. Your place is here with me interceding for the will of the Father and coming here to me so that my will can be accomplished in everything.
Your tendency to carry everything upon your shoulders is a lack of faith in Me. Your faith has been placed in yourself to make things good again. Can any action you take make all things new again? Can you overcome the plans that the enemy has devised? Where does your strength come from? Does it come from me or your own generated energy?
How exhausted you must be carrying the weight of the world around on your own human shoulders. Where do you see the end result will take you? Do you know the outcome before it happens or are you just taking your best guess as a human being? Do you know all things and what the desired outcome should be? Can you see from the beginning to the very end and work the problem out? Are you omniscient and know all things?
Where you place your faith and trust is up to you. How you spend your time and energy is up to you as well. I cannot force you to think like me but I can help you to walk in my ways. I offer a relief to your burdens. I offer you a life of solace and peace. The burdens you take upon yourself shows a lack of faith and trust in me. Have I ever let you down or caused you distress in your life? Have you truly put your trust in me or have you been walking in your own flesh?
Come and take a rest here with me and let me unburden your shoulders. Lay your burdens here at my feet and see these things as you should see them. Can you bring about the desired outcome or can you leave them here with me? Can you trust that I will work all things out for the good or will you put them back on your shoulders? The choice is up to you. You can live with these burdens weighing you down making your smile turn into a frown? What kind of representative can you be for me when your face wears a continuous frown?
Rise up and receive a reprieve from me. You have my permission to be free. Remember whose you are and who takes good care of you. Remember that I am your Father who loves you so. Trust in me to carry all of your burdens and to work out every kink and knot that you see before you. Remember that it is not your place to be the mediator of every issue that you face, but you are commissioned to bring these issues to me. Cast every care you have here at my sovereign feet and know every issue will be dealt with by me.
