Come Up Higher
Impart to me your gift of love and I will receive it. Give your life as a sacrifice of love to me and I will receive you. Everything I did was done in love for you so learn to love as I have loved you.
Remember the sacrifice I made for you at the cross and remember how I lived my life as a poured-out drink offering given for you. My demonstration is an example for you to do the same in your time here on Earth. Do not pull back and recoil when you think of pouring out for others, for there is no higher calling then to show my great love and be a servant to all.
Service to others is a higher calling. You become entirely dependent on me to fill you and empower you on a daily basis. Your energy and strength can only come from me and I promise to provide all that you need. A daily empowering promised to you as you promise to serve only me. Love others as I have loved you. Seek me out with your whole heart and mind and be connected to me, one-on-one each day of your life.
I am calling you to come up higher and receive more from me. I am calling you away from your ho-hum existence into a life of ministry with me. Will you give a cup of cold water to someone in need? Will you give your life to me? Will you open up your arms and embrace someone who desperately needs me? Will you take up your cross and follow me?
Give of yourself, your time, and your talents, to the work that I have called you to do. Take my hand and find your true identity in me. Take the time to be alone with me on a daily basis to receive your instructions from me. In your mind you think this will be difficult to do but when my Spirit is working through you it will be one of the easiest things to do. My Spirit is the one who will empower you beyond your natural ability and with him there is nothing that you cannot do!
Depend upon me each day that you live. Depend upon my Spirit to lead and guide you. Do not depend on your own human abilities, for that will take you to a place of defeat every time. My ways are not your ways and my ways lead you to a place of victory. You cannot do this on your own, but only by the power of my Holy Spirit. Taking matters into your own hands will always lead to a downfall.
My grace and mercy cover you all day long. If you are dependent on me, I will keep you from falling. I will show you where the pitfalls are ahead and I will show you what you need to do instead. Let me guide and lead you in every way and if you do not have an answer wait until you hear from me. I will not fail you, reject you, or abandon you, to do anything on your own. Trust in me to come through for you and give you a brand-new home. Learn to hang your hat in me and make yourself at home. Relax and take your direction from me and keep your time alone with me your number one priority.
