Keep Your Eyes on Me
Be resurrected in me and do not let the things of this world bring you down. Discomfort will always be around and disappointments happen from time to time, but my presence is with you to remind you of what is true. Fix your eyes on the Author and Finisher of your faith and put your trust in me to complete everything I have planned for you. You are never alone in this life to push through by yourself, for I am right here beside you.
Leave time for me each day to recognize who I am and where I have you in life. I am your constant guide leading you to take the next step. I will not leave you to fend for yourself but I will guard and guide each step that you take. When you become frustrated that your plans did not work out to your expectations turn to me for guidance in how to think. Do as I have commanded you and love one another as I have loved you.
Let me lead your life one day at a time. Depend on me to guide your mind to take the next step and the one after that. Daily dependence is a must in the life of faith you lead. I am your guide and I will show you the pathway of life. I will comfort you when plans do not work out the way you thought they should. I will show you another way to live and how to thrive in me in the in-between times.
Stand tall in me with the confidence I give you. Know that I will lead and guide you every step of the way. You do not have to fret or fear or allow your emotions to run away with you. Put your trust in me that everything will work out according to my plans I have for you. Leave behind the violent tendencies when your plans do not work out. If your trust is placed in me then what are you angry about?
Let my peace cover your heart and fill your mind with my purposes that have been established in Heaven from the beginning of time. Each day has been crafted for you to be drawn closer to me. Let not your heart become troubled over matters that will not amount to anything. These are moments meant to strengthen your faith in me. What you see as opposition becomes an opportunity to be drawn closer to me.
See with new eyes that have never truly opened. See my plans unfold before you. Consult me before becoming angry because there is a greater purpose behind it. What is it I want you to see? What greater purpose do I want you to fulfill? Leave behind your old ways of thinking and learn to follow my lead. I will show you the pathway to life. I will restore your vigor and vitality. I will give you clarity in your thinking and give you a better path to follow. My way leads you on the pathway of life where disappointments may come and go, but that is your time to let it go and keep your eyes on me.
