Keep Your Eyes On Me
Come to me when your heart is weary and I will give you rest. I will set your heart on a better frequency where you will not fret or worry about what is to come. Let your mind become focused on the things above and not always on the things below. Keep your eyes continually focused on me and let me guide you to think more like me.
The weariness of your journey can sometimes become oppressive upon your thoughts and lead you down a path that you don’t need to go. Keep your eyes on me at all times, coming to me for daily direction. Each day I will direct your mind on what to give your attention to. Focusing too much on the future will only wear you out. Keep your eyes on me and do not let them depart.
Rest your heart, your mind, your soul, into my loving embrace. Let me carry your thoughts into a better place where I can breathe new life into your wearied mind. Even the tasks at hand require my energy to move forward, so put your faith in me and let me move you upward and onward. Each day I need you to come to me for a fresh anointing and a fresh blessing of me. Don’t think you can survive on the manna of the past to get you by today. Your survival depends upon coming to me for a fresh renewal.
I want you to come to me each day, for your spiritual survival depends on it. There is no other way to live your life in obedience to me – yet ignore the things I’ve commanded for your life. No matter what the situation you are currently in you can find time to seek me out. Don’t think you can leave me on the sidelines and gain victory for the win. Your success depends upon your dependency on me.
How much do you trust me? Have you given me your whole heart or only in part? What part of me is untrustworthy? Have I ever let you down before or were your thoughts driven in the wrong direction? Let me be the center point of your direction. Let me be your True North. How much time you spend with me will determine the outcome of your march. I will show you the correct pathway to take that will lead you forward.
Put your whole trust in me and do not continue to look backwards. Don’t look to others for their opinions, but continue to pursue me. When you receive a direction from me be obedient with the first directive you get. Move forward in that way until I tell you the next move to make. There should be no fear in your mind regarding your next step, for I have already planned that ahead of you. Trust in me to guide and guard your steps. When you put your whole trust in me you are sure to make all the right moves.
Matthew 11:28-30 The Passion Translation
28“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. 29Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. 30For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”
Colossians 3:2 The Passion Translation
2Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.
John 6:31-35 The Voice
31 Our fathers ate manna when they wandered in the desert. The Hebrew Scriptures say, “He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” Jesus: 32 I tell you the truth: Moses did not give you bread from heaven; it is My Father who offers you true bread from heaven. 33 The bread of God comes down out of heaven and breathes life into the cosmos. Crowd: 34 Master, we want a boundless supply of this bread. Jesus: 35 I am the bread that gives life. If you come to My table and eat, you will never go hungry. Believe in Me, and you will never go thirsty.
Mark 1:35 The Passion Translation
35The next morning, Jesus got up long before daylight, left the house while it was dark, and made his way to a secluded place to give himself to prayer.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 The Passion Translation
24Isn’t it obvious that all runners on the racetrack keep on running to win, but only one receives the victor’s prize? Yet each one of you must run the race to be victorious. 25A true athlete will be disciplined in every respect, practicing constant self-control in order to win a laurel wreath that quickly withers. But we run our race to win a victor’s crown that will last forever. 26For that reason, I don’t run just for exercise or box like one throwing aimless punches, 27but I train like a champion athlete. I subdue my body and get it under my control, so that after preaching the good news to others I myself won’t be disqualified.
