Look to Me to Call the Shots

Walk with me today and hear my heartbeat for you. Know my heart and all I have laid up for you. Things stored back for years just awaiting those who have served me and sought an audience with me each day.

Do you seek me with all your heart, soul, and mind? Do you look for me behind everything that comes your way? Do you see my hand in every problem that affects your life? Where is your faith and where is your heart when difficulties arise? Do you listen for my voice or do you grope around in darkness trying to find a solution to all your problems?

Cancel your doomsday plans and cancel your thoughts to sit and mope and think you are left to find your own way in the dark. What kind of Father do you think I am? Do you feel I will abandon you like an earthly Father might do to you? Do you have enough faith to ask me for the help you need or do you resort back to doing things on your own, time and time again?

Covet your time alone with me. Make every effort to spend time with me to discover all the answers that you need. Every step of the way through the process I will lead and guide you. I will show you what it truly means to be one with me and to be led by my Spirit as you walk through this life I have given to you. Let me handle your dreams and set you on the path of success that you were meant to live. Let me teach you my way, the way of YAHWEH.

Let me handle the curve balls that come at you with no warning. Let me catch the things that are way over your head. Let me save and protect you from the line drives thrown by the enemy aimed at taking off your head. I am your shield and your protector. I am the umpire who calls out the foul threats that arise from your enemy. I will protect and guard you from every attack from within. No one will take you out of the game you were meant to win.

Step up to the plate and swing when I tell you to swing and steadily wait until the time is right. Wait and watch for my signals and keep a weary eye on the enemy trying to steal bases out from beneath you. Do not turn your eyes upon the crowd and become distracted by your fame. You are who you are solely because of your relationship with me. Keep your head in the game and dig your cleats into the ground. Tighten your grip on the bat and swing only when you hear my voice.

It is when you take your direction only from me that you become my number one hitter on my team. You will never ride the bench and not be used by me. Cast every care and every dream sent from me at my feet and trust in me to complete that task. Step up to the plate and learn to trust in me. Learn to only look to me for higher direction. You will always know what to do when you look to me to call the shots.
