Make the Time
Make the time to come to me daily and I will comfort you with my words for each day. There is joy in my presence when you seek me out daily. Joy that can only come as you search for me in the quiet of your day. Make the time to be quiet and silent in my presence, for it is the only way to hear my voice. I will speak to you in a variety of ways, but it is when you quiet the noise around you that you will be able to hear my voice.
What are the things that occupy your time that keep you from coming close to me. Would it be worth your time and effort to give up some things to spend the necessary time you need to be able to hear from me? What am I worth to you? What cost are you willing to pay to hear the voice of YAHWEH? I am the Creator of the Cosmos and I do desire to be with you and to tell you just how much I love you. Are you willing to give up some of your time to be with me and hear what I have to say to you?
Why do you worry about what I will say? Do you worry I will confront you about the choices you have made? Do you feel the burden of the conviction of sin? My purpose is not to cause you sorrow or pain, but to draw you closer to me. I am a holy God and I cannot look upon sin, but the blood of my Son has taken that burden away from you and made your life clean and free again. When you come before me, I see you covered and accepted by the blood of my Son. This is why you celebrate when you come into my presence because you know my love has covered you. You have been washed and cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and there is nothing you could do to pull me away from you. You are chosen, you are accepted, and you are loved by me.
Come into my presence with a grateful heart and worship me with love in your heart. See all the things I have rescued you from and how I brought you to be in this position with me. See all the things in your life that would be filled with void without me. See all the blessings you enjoy because you have me. See everything with a grateful heart and you will begin to see me at work in your life. Joy will erupt within your heart as you think about all that I have saved you from, blessed you with, and equipped you to live your life in me.
What joy awaits you as you come into my presence! There is no condemnation for those who are under the blood of my Son. Come with great expectation to receive the joy of my presence when you meet with me. Come by faith knowing you will receive a portion of my presence each time we meet. There is something new you will receive each day as you seek me out in the quiet of your day. There are a myriad of blessings coming your way if by faith you make the time for me. What things do you think I have waiting for you? I guess you will just have to come and see!
