Reevaluate Everything
Stand closer to me when you feel yourself being led astray. Do not fall into a pattern of sin, but quickly turn away and return to what you know is good. Feel my presence all around you. Let me wrap my loving arms around you bringing you love and comfort.
The things of this world can be very captivating but soon you find yourself in a place of emptiness and despair. Let my love replace the emptiness you feel. Allow my love to touch you and pick you up off the ground sending my love into the deepest places of your heart.
Forgive others as you have been forgiven. Let the things of the past stay in the past as you move forward in me. Let yourself be free of past mistakes and move forward keeping your eyes focused on me. Free yourself of the things that hold you down and hold you back from a life of freedom in me.
Carefully think through every activity you allow yourself to participate in and ask me if you should be involved in it. Reevaluate everything you give your attention towards and ask if it is something worth your time. The time that you have been given is yours. You choose whether to use it for good and for my glory or will it cause you to falter in your relationship to me. Think through everything you focus your time, energy, and attention on. Does spending your time doing that activity draw you closer to me or does it fill your heart and mind with clutter?
Continuously ask yourself if what you are doing brings honor to me. Does this activity bring me glory or benefit the Kingdom of Heaven in any way? How does this activity affect your thinking? Do you turn your focus on it more than dwelling on what is right and true and praiseworthy? Remember, these are the things you should be giving your attention to.
You have felt yourself getting in a slump and dwelling on things that bring many distractions. You have felt the void of emptiness, yet you still continue doing them. Why do you mindlessly give yourself over to something that brings you no joy or peace into your life? The routine you have gotten into must come to a stop and reset your priorities on the things that bring you peace, joy, and fulfillment in life.
As you dwell in me and I dwell richly in you, your life and your thoughts will become fruitful and full of life. Abundant joy will become your new norm and these things that tied you down will become a distant memory. Forgo spending endless hours of activity doing nothing that benefits you and rediscover all the things I am eager to reveal to you. Your life will become blessed beyond belief as you surrender your time over to me. The things of the past will no longer hold you back and you will be free to move forward in me.
