Return to Me

Return to me all of you who have run as far as you could run. Aren’t your feet tired and your hearts wearied from running away from me? How much strength it takes to deny me and push me away from your heart. The weariness of your journey has taken a toll on you and caused your eyes to darken. Your mind has become exhausted from the weighted burden you carry.

Return to me and let me take that burden you carry. Return to the life you were meant to live. Let me restore to you what was broken and heal the scars you carry. Let me show you how to forgive so that you do not have to live that way anymore. Oh, how the corrupted weight of unforgiveness weighs down your heart the most. It holds you back from everything and creates a cancer within your soul.

Let me lighten your load and take possession of your soul. Let me cleanse the deep places within that occupy every inch. Forgiveness is a necessity that no one can do without. Forgiveness is the key to making a fresh start. Forgive those who have trespassed against you causing you grief and pain. The more you hold onto what they did to you, the longer it continues to punish you. Why let those who stole something from you keep punishing you over and over again?

Take a hold of what you know of me and see what I sacrificed for you. I laid my life down so you could be free to live. I have made the way for you to live free and clear and never have anything holding you back. I offer you a life of freedom with nothing restricting you. You have laid it down but then you picked it right back up again. Is that really giving it over to me? Is that putting your faith in me to handle things from here?

You labor in vain over and over as you take matters into your own hands. You think you can move forward while you continue to drag unforgiveness like a ball and chain behind you. You were meant to be a sprinter and even able to run great distances, but your pace has continued to be drug down by your inability to forgive. It does not matter what was done to you for the past is in the past. If you want to finish this race then you must truly let these things go.

My presence and my power will give you the ability to forgive. I will restore you to how you were meant to live. Nothing will hold you back from getting into the position you were meant to be. Release your burden of sin and hand it over to me once and for all time. Lay it securely at my feet and never return to it again. Trust in me to sort out their lives and return them back to me. What was broken can be remade by me.

Let your heart be given to me and let your eyes be fixed on me. I am the Author and the Finisher of life and I am the Restorer of what was done to you. Take my hand and do not return to that way of life. Live freely in me and walk in my light and let your life in me truly begin.
