Set Higher Goals
Come as you are, come as a united people, come and worship me as your King. Stay focused, my people, and stay in the place of worship daily. Remember my Sabbath Day and keep it holy. Stay in a position of remembrance of me. Worship my name near and far. Record all the great things you see me doing and forget not all my promises of the things to come. When all seems quiet, seek me out in a whole new way. Don’t think that I’ve left you, but think of it like hide and seek and come find me in a new place to dwell and to be. When you seek me with all of your heart, you will find me.
Come to me in a whole new way. Don’t let things become stale and routine to you. I am a God who likes to change things up. I love to give you variety in your life. With the new year coming, put away old ways of thinking and walk with me into the new. Don’t let things become stale but walk in newness of life with me. I have many exciting things in store for you that are coming your way. Things won’t be the same for you and I’m making a new way for you. I am a God of excitement, not the old run of the mill. New things are coming your way and I need you to be ready for them.
What is it that you desire more of? What is it that you can’t live without? What are the things that occupy your mind most? Come to me and seek me out for all your answers you’re searching for. I am the door, so come on in and seek me out for all you are searching for and so much more! You have asked for far too little and I want you to desire for more. There is so much more work to be done here on earth to establish my Kingdom. So, come to me with your long list in hand and let’s take back this world for my Kingdom.
What are the goals you’ve set for your life? I need you to set them higher than you’ve imagined in the past. I want you walking on the water with me, changing set patterns and becoming bold with me. Don’t settle for less than the potential I’ve given you. You’ll never know all that you can do if you stay with what you know.
There are new things coming your way and you must walk by faith to bring them to fruition. Come to me on a daily basis and I will teach you to walk in my holy ways. Ask not what I can do for you, but ask what you can do for my Kingdom. Discipline and evaluate who you truly are and what you are to be doing for my Kingdom’s sake. Too long have you sat idle, thinking everything’s about you. Get your feet moving doing what I’ve called you to do. If you don’t know, come and ask me. I have much in mind for you, so come to me on bended knees and let me share my heart for you. Never be afraid to ask – for the sky’s never a limit for me!
John 6:37 New International Reader’s Version
37 Everyone the Father gives me will come to me.
I will never send away anyone who comes to me.
Exodus 16:23-26 New Living Translation
3 He told them, “This is what the Lord commanded: Tomorrow will be a day of complete rest, a holy Sabbath day set apart for the Lord. So, bake or boil as much as you want today, and set aside what is left for tomorrow.” 24 So they put some aside until morning, just as Moses had commanded. And in the morning the leftover food was wholesome and good, without maggots or odor. 25 Moses said, “Eat this food today, for today is a Sabbath day dedicated to the Lord. There will be no food on the ground today. 26 You may gather the food for six days, but the seventh day is the Sabbath. There will be no food on the ground that day.”
Jeremiah 29:12-14 New Century Version
12 Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me! 14 I will let you find me,” says the Lord. “And I will bring you back from your captivity. I forced you to leave this place, but I will gather you from all the nations, from the places I have sent you as captives,” says the Lord. “And I will bring you back to this place.”
Matthew 7:7 New King James Version
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Matthew 21:18-22 New International Reader’s Version
18 Early in the morning, Jesus was on his way back to Jerusalem. He was hungry. 19 He saw a fig tree by the road. He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Right away the tree dried up. 20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree dry up so quickly?” they asked. 21 Jesus replied, “What I’m about to tell you is true. You must have faith and not doubt. Then you can do what was done to the fig tree. And you can say to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea.’ It will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive what you ask for when you pray.”
