Step Away From The Position Of Doing
Cleansing and purification comes from me and there is no way to be holy except through me. I died in your place to set men free and give you a life that was set free from sin. There is nothing that you can do to make yourself right, you only need to come to me to make all things right again. So many think that if they just live their life in such a way that, that is what makes them right in my eyes. I do want you to live a good and moral lifestyle but it’s the stain of sin that must be dealt with.
Come to me all who are weary from trying your best to live a moral life but without finding rest. You do your best and exert all your energy, but you come to the end of yourself and you still feel a mess. I am here to say, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life that you need to be pulled out of the pit that you find yourself in. I am the solution to all of your problems and it’s in taking my hand that you will find peace again.
Don’t hesitate or put this decision off, for you know in your heart that I am calling you to believe. Believe in your heart that I was sent here by my Father to take the weighty burden of sin off the shoulders of sinful men. I was sent to pay the price for a curse of sin that can never be made right by the acts of men. It was the price of God the Father’s one and only Son that would pay the price to remove the curse and make us one.
Step away from the position of doing and let my blood I shed for you do all of the cleansing. Your efforts are done in vain and they get you nowhere except for self-inflicted pain. Why do you toil so hard and then expect results? For it is not by your valiant efforts that somehow give you extra credit. The only solution to gaining absolution is by surrendering your life into my hands and allowing me to cleanse you of this burden.
Come to me in a place of prayer and share with me all the burdens you carry. Let me cover you with my cleansing blood and wash away all the guilt that you carry. My blood and sacrifice cleanses you for all time and there is no need to keep doing things to feel right again. You are made right for all time by the blood of God’s only Son. When you feel compelled to do things that are good and right, know that it’s coming from a heart that just wants to do what’s right and not a substitute for my justifying blood.
There should be no more striving to do what’ right, but now you will do things because you live in my Light. Read my Word and come to know my heart and you will move forward with a brand-new start. All the old works are now behind you and the works that you’ll be doing as you move forward will come from my heart. You are made right only by my blood and no amount of good works makes you righteous, no, not one.
