Tune Into the Voice of YAHWEH
Wait right here and quiet your thinking. Stay still in this moment to receive the words that I have to say. It is in the quiet that you will hear me speak to you and come to know my heart intimately. You desire closeness to my heart and I desperately want to give it to you but first you must quiet your own thinking to hear what I have to say. Calm your mind and rest yourself here in my presence. It is here in the quiet that you will hear my voice speaking inside of you.
Many of my people are too busy today to sit and be still to hear what I want to say to them. Many are frightened to hear my words expecting to be surrounded by shame and disappointment. But why would I call you to my side to teach you to trust and barrage you with shame and cause you to turn and run away? This is a false picture of me and this has been concocted by the voice of your enemy.
Stay here and sit with me a while. Let me free your heart from the conviction of sin and wash away every fear that you carry. Living underneath the weightiness of sin is no way to be living in me. Is it truly living in the freedom I give to constantly be weighted down by a ball and chain? You are my children and you do not have to live like that. You have been given a greater freedom than that.
Come to me when you are burdened down with shame. Let me help you become brand new again. Do not let the sun go down upon your sin and allow it to fester and take a hold on you again. You do not have to live that way and you have the rewarding privilege of running to your YAHWEH. Come and let me provide the cleansing you need and open up the doors of communication between you and me. The very thing you dread is the key to your liberty.
Come and be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Taste and see that I, your LORD, are good and kind. Come and experience the freedom that you desire to boldly approach my throne without any inhibitions. You and I were meant to be united as one and you have allowed shame to cover your eyes. Come and let me break off every hinderance of sin and bring you into a place of intimacy with me once again.
Come into a place of quietness with me and let me turn things around for you. Let me whisper in your ear the things I want you to hear. Not words of shaming or defeat but words that will cause you to stand to your feet and walk together in a place of intimacy with me. Let me set your mind in a place where you are able to receive the wonderful words of YAHWEH. Let me teach you to listen for my voice and follow in my ways. Lean in and quiet your thinking and tune into the voice of YAHWEH.
