Turn Your Attention To Me
Taking two steps forward and one step back is not how I would have you move forward in me. For, you will move forward as never before in leaps and bounds as my Spirit takes ahold of you. Confusion is at an all time high and my people are strained as they watch the news and focus on the media. You give your time and so much attention to the works of the enemy, but you cannot spend one hour alone with me. You tremble at the reports of men – yet you forget to turn to me.
What you fill your mind with is what you become. Are you filled with fear or are you focused on me? You will either become fearful or hopeful depending on what you focus your attention on. Who is your LORD and Master? Are you pulled around by a chain following the dictates of an evil ruler or are you lifting your praises to your Savior and King?
The dictates of your life are being controlled by only one master. You can follow one and leave behind the other. Whom will you follow as you look at your life today? Will you give your thoughts over to fear and follow the enemy, or will you choose to follow the Truth and turn and worship me?
You have a choice to make each and every day. You can choose to follow the ways of this world and surrender yourself over to fear, or you can see and recognize that I have overcome this world by my blood and atonement of sin. You have become too focused on what the world would have you thinking. Instead, your focus and attention need to be on what I have accomplished for you.
Who has the power to overcome obstacles that stand in your way? Who has the power to break down strongholds and cause the enemy to flee? You have all that you need to overcome the enemy’s plans to bring destruction to your world. You have turned your attention to the giants that stand before you instead of turning your attention to me. Who has come at you hurling threats in your direction? Who has threatened to stand in your way?
Take my Word as your sword of Truth and declare that the enemy step down away from you. Take up your sword and your shield of faith and speak my Word out to your enemy declaring his power is null and void. Rejoice that you are covered by the blood of the Lamb and that you can take refuge in the GREAT I AM. Do not shrink back from the enemy when he hurls defeating blows, but stand and fight with my Word at your side.
My Word will never fail you and my promises are sure. You are protected by my covenantal promises. No weapon formed against you will ever prosper as you put your faith, hope, and trust in me. You can look to me for your protection, but I desire that you stand and fight with me.
Luke 24:49 New Life Version

Luke 21:28 The Voice
28 So when the troubles begin, don’t be afraid. Look up—raise your head high, because the truth is that your liberation is fast approaching.
Matthew 6:24 New Living Translation
24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
1 Samuel 17: 45-51 New King James Version
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” 48 So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword, and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it.
