You Were Born To Conquer The Day
Honor me with everything that you have. Honor me with your time, your money, your purpose in life; give it all to me as an offering of your praise and adoration to the one who made you. You have been made in my image and all that is within you rise up and praise my name all day long. You are my offspring; a mirror image of me on the earth. I am to be honored in your mind and in your daily thoughts. This should be a natural reflex of who I made you to be.
Daily your thoughts get mangled and twisted into knots because you didn’t start your day with praise and adoration of who I am and who I made you to be. Confusion has clouded your mind and you’re a nervous wreck when it comes to doing your job. Daily life is exhausting when doing things by your own power.
Come to me first thing in the morning, before you start your day. Before the hustle and bustle of life tears you away from me. You must come to me to get your mind in order. I love you too much to see you trying to do this all on your own. Day after day this routine of yours will tear you apart.
Come to me when you first wake up. Even if it’s just sitting up in your bed to sit alone and talk to me. I want to comfort your thoughts and give you a renewed mindset for each day. I will prepare you for what’s ahead and keep that dread from entering your head. I want to fill you with hope and the light of life. It takes only minutes sometimes to stop and take a minute or two with me.
Come to me in the silence of the morning, in the quiet of the dark. Let me speak my thoughts to you and fill your heart with a desire to communicate with me the whole day through. For too long you’ve been trying to do things your way, so let’s try things my way and see how you feel. Your way is failing because it’s not of me. This is not how I created you to function.
You were born to rise and bless my name, to know who I am and conquer the day. You weren’t made to grovel and complain, but to live a vibrant and victorious life in me each day. This is your destiny; this is your heritage. Who do you think I am? Who takes you step by step, holding your hand? Who orders your steps each day to walk according to my will? Who gives you life to breathe? Who sets the pace of your life so that everything falls perfectly in line for you?
I AM the one who rescues you when you go off in the wrong direction and I will be there for you when you need me the most. I have never left you, ever, in your life. I am always right beside you making all things right. Take the things that come your way in stride and lay your burdens at my feet. Nothing can ever separate you and I because I love you with an everlasting love. Come to me, my darling son or daughter, and let me start your day My way.
