I Am Closer Than A Brother
Come away with me today to a solitary place, for I have much to say and words of wisdom to release to you today. Come ready to hear and come when you hear me calling to you. Come spend precious time with me and let me speak to you as a friend. Yes, I am to be honored and holy, but I am closer than a brother, I am your friend. This is where I want you to be, here alone with me, practicing being in my presence, having conversations with me.
So many take on a stoic posture thinking I’m not their friend, but that’s because they don’t know me as they should. I came into this world to show you how it’s done. You don’t need to practice formalities with me, for I am your provider, your protector, and your closest friend. Yes, you can confide in me and share your deepest secrets with me. I see you at every moment of every day so there is nothing you cannot tell me that I don’t already know. Those secrets you keep hidden can be released to me and I will help you heal from them. Lightning fast, they will be removed from you when you confess with your mouth and repent of them. This is my promise to you.
Share your heart with me. Share the good things happening to you and share the deep scars that have hurt your heart. Yes, I can heal those wounds and help you have a new start in me. All things will pass away one day and these things will be no more. Your heart belongs to me forevermore, so there’s no reason to hang onto old hurts anymore. Begin anew in me having a clean heart and a clean slate. There will be a new lightness in your heart and mind and the heaviness you once carried will be gone. Walk in newness with me now and enjoy this freshness with me. Celebrate with a grateful heart and lift your voice in praise!
I am with you always. We are never apart. We are closer than earthly brothers and sisters, for we will never be apart. We will have deep relationship for all eternity. All you need to do is call on my name and I am immediately with you. I am with you always, but when you call upon my name, I will answer you. Recognize my voice when I call to you. Be a mirror image of me wherever you go. Hear my voice clearly when we are alone and carry out my commands as I speak them to your mind. You are to carry my presence with you all day long. You are my representatives wherever you go so that others may know who I truly am. The better you represent me, the better others will want to know me and come be a part of our family. Rise up in what I’ve shared with you and continue to speak to me all throughout this day. Listen for my voice and I will show you the way. No one can ever truly be alone because I am with you always.
