Leave The Mundane Behind
Clarify your thoughts today, let them only be set on me. Do not dwell on other peripheral thoughts that would steer your focus away, but keep your mind stayed upon me. Distractions keep you from staying focused. Settle your mind on keeping focused on the singular most important thing that I would have your attention on. Where your heart is there will be your thoughts and your mind. Distractions will take your mind away from what is most important.
What you fill your mind with will cause you to become more like it. If you give your mind over to peripheral things then more of your time and attention will be drawn to it. Keep your thoughts and attention focused on me and the things I want you meditating on. Spend time soaking in my Word letting my thoughts permeate your mind. Too many settle their thoughts upon the mundane and the profane. The amount of time spent dwelling on television shows or books that are worthless that fill your mind with subpar thinking only pulls you farther away from me.
Let your thoughts, your time, and your attention, be focused on me. Let my presence be your dwelling place where you desire to be with me. Let nothing take the place of putting me first in your life. Place me in the center of your life, far above everything else. Make me the central focus of everything you see and do that glorifies me and furthers my Kingdom. Filter things out that do not belong in your life. There are things that may seem good to others, but I have set a higher standard for you. You are not to be like the rest of the world, but you are to live your life much higher.
Being separate from the world’s standards sets you apart for me and my Kingdom work. If you are just like everyone else you are no different from them. The standard I call you up to is much, much, higher. Let go of the things you used to do and become a follower of me. Let go of the trivial way you spend your time. Every moment you spend with me draws you up higher and higher. Elevate your thinking and you will elevate your life in me.
Don’t let your standards fall to the way the rest of the world around you functions. They do not see the difference at all, but your eyes have been opened to a higher call. Yes, you are called to live on another plane where your life is encircled by me and the things I am calling you to be. I have greater things ahead of you that are calling out your name, but how can I prepare you for that if you settle for the mundane. You are my Bride and I want so much better for you. This is why I am calling you higher to learn to dwell with me. Put away the distractions that clutter the thoughts in your mind and move up higher with me and leave the mundane behind.
