Reexamine

Make the necessary sacrifices to spend time with me today. What would you give up to spend time with YAHWEH today? Are there changes that need to come to your life that would make spending time with me possible? What causes you to be held back from me? Question those thoughts that cause you to resist me. Are those thoughts coming from yourself or from your enemy? You have a relationship with me, so make the time to get to know me better.

I know you inside and out. I know how many hairs are upon your head. I know the thoughts that you are thinking and every decision that you make. But do you know me just as much; do you even want to know me? Would you give up the time you spend with your idols to spend time with me? What captures your attention most of your waking hours of the day? What pulls you in another direction demanding most of your attention throughout your day?

Reexamine these modern-day idols that command your attention and pull your love away from me. Even the word idol has become something to admire as you watch and cheer them on with your television. Reexamine how you talk and the things that you say. Many of my people have been charmed away by the popularity of television shows today. Many of my people have become mesmerized by the phones they hold in their hands all day. Reexamine how much of your time is consumed each day in stargazing at your screen to command how you will spend your day. Will you be angry or sad or joyful today? Will you respond or just scroll it away?

What will you do with your time each day? Will you return your focus onto a screen all day or will you turn to me, your YAHWEH? Who will bring eternal satisfaction to your life? Who will give you more creativity and production to your life? Who breathes new life into your lungs and sets your feet upon higher ground? When all is said and done in your life, what will remain in the footprint you leave upon this Earth? What difference does it make if you are all caught up on the latest details of someone else’s life?

Focus your attention on the things that make an eternal difference. Spend the necessary time with me that will change your frame of reference. Letting these things that are highly distracting control and manipulate your time will leave you empty and out of time. You give of yourself to these things that are trivial and cannot give your life more meaning. Spend your time in the presence of me receiving the manna that is so needed. I will give you what you have been striving to receive; purpose in life and a greater love for me. My love will change your whole perspective and give you purpose and meaning. What good does it profit a man to gain the attention of this world, yet lose his own soul. Redirect your focus on me and I will give you so much more.
